By the end of 1875, Anthony had become an accountant clerk. In 1877 he is refered to as a book keeper. His death certificate lists him as a full accountant, living in Kingston (he had live at his last home for 8 years).

Anthony caught influenza in December of 1927, and passed away from complications due to that. The cemetery is listed as Cataraqui in several spots at the time of his death; it must have gotten renamed later.
