Anthony was living in Detroit at the time of his marriage to Ann. His marriage certificate shows him being born on Wolfe Island, Quebec, and that he was a telegraph operator at the time of his marriage. Witnesses were J.T. Wagner and Elizabeth Byrue, both of Windsor. They were married by James Scaulau.

They planned to live in Detroit.

There is an Anthony E. Malone, 1869-1949, buried at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery in Rock Island, Illinois, that might be him. There is also an Anna Malone (1870-1962) at the same cemetery that might be his wife.
