From Roberta Zieske:

Marvin was born Nov. 7, 1935, to August and Emilia (Roehl) Zieske, at rural Fairview Montana. He moved to Sidney, Montana, with his family at a young age, attending schools there and graduating from Sidney High School in 1953. He received a B.S. in architectural engineering from Montana State College at Bozeman, Montana, inn 1959. He married Marian Daniels in Sidney in 1957 and the couple moved to Williston in 1959 where Marvin began employment with Leslie J. Blake, Architect, becoming a partner in the firm in 1966. The Zieskes have three daughters and their family circle now includes 19 members, all the loves of Marvin’s life. Marvin was a member of McCabe United Methodist Church, Bismarck, where he especially enjoyed bible studies, a source of interest and comfort throughout his life.
