Shirley was born on June 26, 1939 to August and Emelia (Roehl) Zieske at a farmhouse near Fairview, MT. Shortly thereafter the family moved to Sidney, MT. Shirley lived with her parents in Sidney until 1976 when she entered the program at Richland Opportunities, Inc. She worked at the shop at ROI and lived in the semi-independent living complex. Shirley loved and was loved by her many friends at work and at her apartment complex. She enjoyed spending time with her family whenever she could. Shirley was confirmed at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sidney and was a member there until the present time. Shirley died on Sunday, January 11, 2008 at the Sidney Health Center. Shirley is survived by: a sister, Marjorie (William) Paulik, Park Ridge, IL; a brother, Marvin (Marian) Zieske, Bismarck, ND; sister-in-law, Ruby Zieske, Great Falls, MT; numerous nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by: her parents, three brothers, and one sister.
