Obituary from Grant Co. News, of Elgin, North Dakota on February 28, 1990:

“PAUL STEINLEY RITES HELDPaul was born on Dec. 3, 1906 in Mountain Lake, MN to parents, Fred and Augusta (Dombrosky) Steinley. At an early age they moved to Carson, ND where Paul grew up and attended schools. Paul moved to the Sidney, MT area and worked for area farmers. He was united in marriage to Lorentina Zieske on Nov. 30, 1935, in Heil, ND. After the marriage they moved to Minnesota for a short time before returning to the Sidney area. Paul leased several farms in the Sidney and Crane area. He retired from farming in 1967 and they moved to Sidney where they have remained since.

Paul was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Chruch in Sidney, MT. He enjoyed farming, gardening, and his flowers. Paul loved playing with his grandchildren.

Paul died Feb. 8, 1990 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Sidney, MT.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Donald of Crane; two daughters, Marlyn Huber and Cara Simmons, both of Missoula, MT; a brother, Harry Steinley of Carson, ND; five sisters, Margaret Dreisbach and Louse Dreisbach, both of Sand Point, Idaho; Augusta Lipper of Edmonds, WA, Pauline Meier of Everett, WA and Bertha Stegmeier of Bismarck, ND; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Jeff; one brother and three sisters.”
