Sydney visited the USA with William H. Bucknell & Hilda A. Bucknell (Idaho, for sure) in late 1941 (they crossed at Blaine, Washginton on Oct. 17, and returning through Eastport, Idaho on October 29). He was listed as a booker at the time, and is described as 6 foot 1 inch tall, dark complexion, with blue eyes. It also lists him as liviing in Vancouver at the time, but lists his nearest relative as his wife (Vivian J. Baker) living in Pincher Creek, Alberta. It does mention that he was “excluded” from entering the USA previously, in August 1932, in Vancouver, although it doesn’t say why.
There is a grave at the Masonic Cemetery in Burnaby, BC that shows a Sidney Herbert Baker passing away January 20,1999, although it doesn’t show a birth date, that may be him.
