Charles was an engraver living in Vermont at the time of his marriage to Esther. Witnesses were Martha E. Malone, Edward A. Booth, and L.W. Breck, all of Kingston.

He is listed as an ornamental painter at the time of his marriage to Alma. his middle name is listed as Harris.

For some reason, his marriage record in Canada has his surname (and parents) as “Andrews”, but all the grave sites have “Andrus”.
