It appears that Roy, his first wife Clara, and daughter Clarice were living in Stettler, Alberta at the time of the 1911 census. That census shows him being born in March instead of May 1887. It also mentions that he immigrated to Canada in 1909.

Witnesses to Roy’s marriage to Anna were Roxana Day and Jessie M. Gibony.
