Rites Slated for 64-Year City Resident

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. for Mrs. Ida Burtch, 89 who died Saturday at a local nursing home.

She had been a Calgary resident for 64 years and live at 200 Bow Valley Lodge N.E.

She was a daughter of Thomas Dodd, a pioneer from Almonte, Ont., and came to Calgary in 1900.

Mrs. Burtch was a life member of Edith Cavell Lodge OES, and a past grand adah of Alberta Grand Chapter.

She is survived by her husband, Frederick, and a sister, Mrs. Sophia Viola Walling of Pallisade Park, N.J.

Service will be held at The Little Chapel on the Corner and burial will take place in Union Cemetery.
