Thank you for the nice reviews, by the way. L. Curtis Boyle wrote: Tower of Fear, Ninja Warrior, Pac Droids, and possibly others. Yes, I wrote those. I had a title " Invaders" that was sold through Scott Adams' Adventure International. It was written in BASIC with a machine-code subroutine for doing some of the graphics manipulations. It was pretty cheezy and I'm not sure why Scott chose to publish it. I run the Color Computer games list (http://nitros9.stg.net/coco_game_list.html), and have been trying to track down the original authors for two reasons: 1) To update/get information on the games from the author's themselves (and any stories abut them that they would like to pass along), and I've been pretty busy, but I'll see if can provide you with something soon. 2) To see if the author's would allow the games to be put up for download for people either with real TRS-80 Color Computers, or one of the emulators. Would you be willing to do so? Yes, please do! When I found your page a while back, a friend noted that the screen shots were "too perfect" to be captured off a video capture and were probaby taken from an emulator of some sort. I'd been meaning to look for that emulator (especially a Linux version), and if you could point me to that AND downloadable versions of the games I wrote, I'd greatly appreciate it. I still have my original CoCo in storage, as well as a zillion cassettes, but I have no idea if they'd still load. I've already found an emulator and copies of a least one of my TRS-80 Model I/III games. Your guess that "Tower of Fear" was my first commercial release was correct only in the Color Computer context. It was my first CoCo game. Pac-Droids and Ninja Warrior followed in that order. -- Charles
