Bash is based on the arcade hit Arkanoid, and, in fact, Steve Bjork went on later to make the official adaptation to be sold through Radio Shack, based on the same game engine. Unlike the official version, Bash does not have any special bricks for getting lasers to fire back, and no aliens come out from the top of screen... it is a more pure Bustout type game (except for the special bricks, which can give out free lives, magnetic paddles, wide paddles, etc.)
Bash is one of several games that supports both the Coco 1/2 and Coco 3 graphics modes in the same game; it auto-senses between the two.
