Chopper Strike is based on the arcade hits Scramble and Super Cobra. Unlike the original arcade games, Chopper Strike is set up as one continuous map of terrain, rather than being broken into separate levels. Also added is that you are trying to rescue soldiers with your helicoptor, rather than just trying to blow things up and getting fuel. The game was sold with two versions included: A smaller map version for 16K machines, and the full version for 32K. The full version had the equivalent of 105 screens placed end to end. Another difference from the arcade originals is that you don't drop arcing bombs; you fire actual missiles that keep going straight, and which you can angle to fire up or down diagonally, as well as straight across.
