Color Space Invaders was the first commercial clone of the arcade smash Space Invaders available for the Coco. It was also the first machine language game Spectral Associates sold, being the top bill of Spectral's very first advertisement in the February 1981 issue of 80 Micro magazine. It was also the closest version graphically until Mark Data Products Space Raiders came out. A good copy of the arcade space shoot-em-up.
I have just added an earlier version screenshot showing the original name of the company, before it became Spectral Associates (it was originally known as Barnett & Bank Brothers). I have not been able to verify this; I am hoping somebody that was around that early in the Coco's history will know if this is correct or not.
