Defense

Defense intro screen Defense game screen

Defense is a clone of the arcade hit Missile Commmand... although, unlike the original arcade game (or a clone put out by Radio Shack called Polaris), you only have one base to fire from, instead of three (the outside two bases just contain your ammunition... you don't actually fire from them). This makes it more of a clone of the Atari 2600 version, rather than the arcade.

The game does not appear in Spectral Associates advertisements until 1984, yet the copyright screen indicates 1982... so I am assuming that the rights were sold to Spectral Associates between those two years.
