Escape 2012 is a graphical adventure game along the lines of others like Trekboer. However, given the speed of this one in drawing the grahics, it appears to be using the BASIC interpreter (or BASIC itself) instead of it's own graphics routines. Your mission in this game is to escape from alien captivity and return to your own Space Station. The game uses standard VERB NOUN adventure game commands.
