Snak Pac is part of a mystery that surround 4 versions of essentially the same game, that all came out between 1981 and 1983, from at least two different companies, and two differnet authors. They are as follows:

Pac-Tac - the undisputed original from Computerware using the Semigraphics-24 mode in 1981, author unknown.

Pac-Tac version 2 - a redone version of the above, by Larry Bank, using PMODE 4 graphics, and ghosts have been renamed. Never intended for commerical release, it probably came out in 1982, leaked from the small # of people who Larry passed it around to.

Snak Pac - Tom Mix version by Larry Bank, with the EXACT same graphics for the game itself as version 2 above, but with completely new intro screens. Larry does not remember dealing with Tom Mix, so it is possible that somebody else sold it on "on his behalf", without letting Larry know.

Pac-Tac II - the undisputed last version of the 4 from Computerware in 1983, author unknown. While the maze and sound effects are identical to the other 3 (except that the maze walls are not filled with color), it features Pac Man and ghost shapes much closer to the arcade, and the bonus fruit is now cherries instead of an apple (also closer to the arcade).
