Star Blaster intro and game screen.

Star Blaster is a clone of the arcade game Asteroids, although it throws in a few things from Asteroids Deluxe as well. It features keyboard or joystick controls, and adds the shields from Deluxe. It is also one of the few game programs by a third party company that actually was sold on cartridge as opposed to tape or disk, as well as being one of the earliest 3rd party games. The game itselft has you trapped in an asteroid belt, defending your ship from asteroids. You have shields (although only so many seconds per ship), and rapid fire (with limited range).
