“W. Aileen Boyle (nee Bell)
The passing of W. Aileen Boyle (nee Bell) occured on Monday, April 19, 2010 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, at the age of 72 years. Aileen was born on June 18, 1937 at Harris, SK, and was raised on the family farm at Tessier, SK. She lived there until her marriage when she moved to Saskatoon for three years. At this time, the young family moved to Delisle, SK where she lived until her passing. She worked in local restaurants, the grocery store, the Delisle Hotel, and was proprietor of “The Deli”. Along the way she affectionately became “Martha”. She was especially proud of her involvement with the Legion and most recently the Community Gardens. Aileen was predeceased by her parents, Charles Jr. and Lillian Bell; her brother, Erwin; her husband, Robert “Bob” Boyle; sons-in-law, Scott Peddle and Harry “Butch” Walker; and longtime partner and friend, Albert Gramson. She is survived by her son, Kevin (Raelene) Boyle and their children, Roberta and Brendan; daughter, Karen and her children, Jaime and great-granddaughter, Oaklyn, Darcy and Kyle; daughter, Karla (Steven) Lausen and family, Evan, Ethan, Eden, Elan, Nicholas and Mitchell; and by her sister, Jean Tweddle and family. A gathering for coffee and a time of rememberance will be held on Friday, April 23, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Delisle Senior’s Centre, Delisle, SK. Friends are welcome to attend. Memorial donations, in memory of Aileen, may be made to a Local Charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are in care of The OUTLOOK FUNERAL CHAPEL, 867-8255.”
