He was a grain buyer in Luseland, Saskatchwan during the 1916 census.
There is a newspaper clipping showing Howard and his wife moving from Luseland to Edmonton, where they had lived since 1913. It mentions that Howard was employed for years by the Spencer Grain Compnay, and later that he became a partner of Mr. Nicholson in his hardware and furniture store. He accepted (in springtime) a postion in Edmonton, prompting the move. Unfortunately, I don’t know what year (or newspaper) this clipping is from.
He moved to Vancouver around December of 1949.
Howard was the manager of an apartment building at the time of his death, which he had been doing for 1&1/2 years. He passed away from a heart attack.
