Alpha Search is an educational arcade game, using the fairly rarely used Semigraphics-24 graphics mode. In it, you control the saucer, who can move left and right, but you can only go up and down via the 3 color elevators, which are constantly moving up and down (and each at different speeds). Once you are horizontally level with an elevator, you can move right and left and capture the letters that are constantly changing and popping in an out of existence. Your goal is to get all 26 letters of the alphabet, in as short of time as possible (captured letters show up at the top). But beware - if you attempt to capture a letter that you have already captured, you lose the one you had, and have to re-get that letter again. Part of Spectral Associates educational games line. Space bar starts the game, BREAK quits a game in progress, otherwise it uses the right joystick.
