Fury is loosely based on the arcade game Time Pilot. It was also one of the earlier games to have speech synthesis in it (for intros, etc.); it indeed claimed to be the first in their ads, although Sea Dragon beat it by a couple of months. Basically, you fly around, shooting down enemy craft, while trying to rescue parachutists. You will eventually find "superships" that are worth extra points (such as balloons, helicopters, etc.)
