Glaxxons is an arcade loosely based on the arcade smash Galaxians. However, it also contained a large number of changes. For one, you could specify 8 different speeds at which to play the game, and if you had a 2 player game (you take turns), each player got to pick there own skill level. In the game play itself, you can move up and down, as well as left and right, on the bottom 1/3 of the screen. Also, your firing was similiar to that of the arcade game Gorf: If you tried firing a 2nd shot while your first one was still travelling up the screen, your first one would disappear, and the 2nd one would take over. This made the game rather difficult.
