Mazy is a game by Japanese developer Inufuto (using their C like cross-platform engine called "CATE"). Like other Inufuto games, it is targeted at many 8 bit systems. On systems that don't have hardware sprite chip or a dedicated background music chip (like the Coco's & MC-10), the engine uses tile based sprites, and single voice music in the intro, game end, and between screens. This particular game was done early on in Inufuto's existence, and Coco 3 support was not yet in their game engine, so only a Coco 1/2 version (and MC-10 version was made. It runs in the equivalent of PMODE 3 (128x192x4) (or 128x96x4 on the MC-10), and as with all the Coco version of Inufuto games, it is designed to only run from cassette. But, we have made a disk runnable version as well (See downloads below).

Mazy is a scrolling maze game, where the player's mission is to get to the exit door to go to the next level within a time limit (bonus points are rewarded for how much time is left on the clock). There are several types of monsters in the game, and the player has to find and pick up daggers that they can throw at the monsters blocking their path in their quest to find the exit. The game runs completely by keyboards controls.
